All repair and service estimates provided by Top Watch Repair are assessments based on a visual inspection. Final pricing may vary if additional issues are discovered during the course of service. We will communicate any such changes before proceeding with additional work. No work beyond the agreed scope will be performed without your authorization.
By authorizing a service, you confirm that you are the owner of the timepiece or have the authority to authorize service on behalf of the owner.
We will make every reasonable effort to restore watches to functional condition, but we cannot guarantee outcomes for all watches. Certain conditions — including severely worn or corroded components, discontinued parts, watches with pre-existing damage not visible during initial assessment, and watches from manufacturers whose service documentation is unavailable — may limit what can be achieved. We will advise you of any limitations we identify before proceeding.
We do not accept responsibility for pre-existing conditions that were not visible or detectable at the time of intake. If a watch is found to have undisclosed damage after work has begun, we will inform you before continuing.
Watches left at our shop and not retrieved within 90 days of notification that they are ready for pickup, or after reasonable attempts to contact the customer have been unsuccessful, may be treated as abandoned property in accordance with applicable Michigan law. We reserve the right to apply the value of such property against any outstanding service balance.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Top Watch Repair's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use of the watch during servicing.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be excluded by law, including in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
